Let’s walk (or run) some laps to raise funds for research to find a cure for cancer! This year, we’re walking in support of Lily Belle, a wonderful young girl who is fighting Myelodysplastic Syndrome or Pre-Lukemia.
$40 sign-up fee includes a donation and your event attendance. The deadline to receive a t-shirt has passed, so come wearing purple, Lily’s favorite color. Food and refreshments will be provided.

For 2023, we’re walking in support of
Lily Belle
And here’s her story:
Lily Belle is full of sunshine, silliness, energy, joy and love. She is a professional artist, baby doll mama, dancer, singer, baker and my BFF. Her family loves her so much.
Like her big sister, Maggie Beth, whom she has only met in dreams, Lily has Myelodysplastic Syndrome or Pre-Lukemia.
We have worked hard to trust God’s plan these last 8 years since Maggie went to heaven. We will never understand or think it was fair, but we will spend every day with hope-looking for the glimmers (good moments) and knowing love is all that matters.
She has been in the hospital since August and has finished her first round of chemo with at least one more round coming to prepare for the bone marrow transplant. She is isolated to her room and will remain in the hospital until well after the transplant.
For our boys and us. We know Lily reminds us of Maggie in personality and looks, but she is her own special person. Much prayers and love are appreciated.
